| Over the course of the next several weeks The New York Optimist will be undergoing some changes to make the site a lot more user friendly and easier to navigate. We would like to thank all the readers that have made this website what it is today and thank our artists, advertisers and contributors that have made it all possible. For our new readers who are visiting for the first time, here is an outline of who we are and what we do. The New York Optimist Is a weekly online magazine, we have a unique format that presents our content to readers in a way that may differ from what you might be used to. All text and images are links to feature pages all you have to do is click on them. Traditionally a magazine online offers you the option to flip the pages just like a printed magazine you buy at the newstand, we will offer you this option as well in addition to the current format in the very near future. We created this program from scratch we start with a blank page and do not use templates. Keeping all content and design original and of course all content is protected by copyright. Essentially this makes it easier to customize our pages so we can be as creative as we like without any template restrictions. So please come back every week and find new articles here on the homepage and in our sections on the Navigation bar above. |
