Chelsea Greene Lewyta, artist and freelance illustrator. She graduated from The Pratt Institute in May 2009
with a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Illustration. While at Pratt she also studied various forms of print making and
was a winner from the society of illustrators student competition in 2008. Since, she has been exhibiting her
work internationally and was published in Hunt & Gather: Discovering New Art in 2010.
|Some of her favorite artists include Kiki Smith, Marlane Dumas, Hans Bellmer, Louise Bourgeois, Julie Heffernan, Fuyuko
Matsui, Takato Yamamoto, Yu Jinyoung, Arthur Rackham, Jessie Wilcox Smith, Katherine Shippen Green , Beatrix Potter,
Egon Schiele, Alphonse Mucha, Edouard Manet, Singer Sargent, William Adolphe Bouguereau, and Sophie Jodoin.
Commercial projects Chelsea has worked on were children's books, fashion illustration, album covers, drawing installations,
editorial illustration, sequenial art, cover art, portraiture and concept art. Some of her clients include Biolumina, Art &
Anthropology, The New York Observer, Dress Up America, Real Magazine and Tiffany & Co.
