ABOUT THE OWNER/CHEF
Chef Richard Galcik is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and the previous chef/owner of Park Bistro. He was
awarded the Culinary Award of Excellence from Suffolk County Community College.
His resume includes an impressive list of classical restaurants such as Le Cygne, La Topiare and Restaurant Raphael.
New York born and bred Chef Richard has cooked for a number of renowned celebrities and was the host chef for the James
Beard Foundation Chef’s and Champagne dinner honoring Julia Child.
Although the decor of his new venture Sullivan Diner alludes a French bistro, don’t be fooled. “It’s all American comfort
food” touts Chef Richard, “with a little bit of me thrown in”.
