Suffolk Designer Lighting Over 40 years ago, Bill and Dolores Kreitsek opened Suffolk Designer Lighting ("SDL") in Riverhead, New York. At that time, SDL catered mainly to local electricians and homeowners. In 1974, SDL moved to a new facility on East Main Street in Riverhead. While on East Main Street, SDL grew its electrical and lighting business, selling to a wide array of customers on both Forks of Long Island and Western Suffolk County. In 1985, SDL opened its store in Southampton, the location where SDL still operates. Over the past 23 years, SDL has continued to grow, but remains a closely held family business that emphasizes its relationships with its customers. |
