What do you get when you wear red lipstick and a brooch?

You get a modern woman, seeking both an old fashioned style and new fashioned freedom.

Think about it. Women don't wear brooches like they used to. Perhaps a pin here or there, a button
with a funny saying.
But a brooch? I haven't seen a BIG brooch for years, until recently when shopping for a new blouse.
Attached right on the magenta colored off the shoulder blouse, was a pink and gold flowered brooch. Large,
but not large enough to take over the look of the blouse itself. It was just right. It was large enough to
enhance the off the shoulder cut but not large enough to take away from the face of the woman who would
be wearing it.

Great colors, pink and gold shimmering against a body fitting Magenta, rayon material.

More importantly than the color combination, is what the brooch and the blouse represent.

It represents a sensually, antique style with a new world twist. Femininity, pride, power, "P" Power.

More women should wear brooches in 2009 and beyond. To that, add a little RED lipstick and you are all
set!

Complete freedom and indications that you are not afraid to be your own woman, to be different, to restart
trends or just do what you want to do. Red lipstick is hard to wear and there are probably now over a
hundred shades of red lipstick.

Plan to pick the brightest, but best shade of Red for your complexion. But, do pick it and feel the power that
comes with it.

The sense of knowing you have just recreated an antique era look, while starting a future era trend. A trend
of once again being a leading lady! A woman who is not afraid to wear..
