The New York Optimist
The Humorous Humidor has tremendous "character" AND "characters"

I like to call them "Cigar Characters:"

AngelO (O is for co-owner)
Dennis the Sober/"straight" man (partner)
Joe Salmon
Teddy the Greek
Maney (who is also Greek-but teddy got the name first)
Vodka Victoria (boy can she pound that Kettle One- must be a "russian thing!")
Bill "The hat" ( former Marine- need I say more?)
"The doctor"- he loves his cigars and his Italian suits..

Many many more cigar characters to be announced..Including myself!

What will I be called? If I leave that to the Cigar boys, I may be in trouble! Maybe, "autha?"
or "writa?" (said with a beautiful brooklyn accent)

Well for now, I will proclaim myself "J-Ellie" or Jelly or Jellie. However you pronounce it, I
am one of the token Jewish girls at the humidor.. Get it? "J" ellie = Jellie.

I can jiggle like jelly, especially when the Humidor plays Bobby Darin's "Dreamlover." I was
all over it, doing the hustle at the Humidor. You know how challenging it can be to hustle in
a 4 x 2 space?
We managed and what a group it was! It wasn't long before I felt like part of the Cigar
Characters!

I walked in a "nice jewish girl, " I walked out a new woman..so many life lessons learned
and shared in a span of 2 hours.

At the Humidor, over some scotch,  cigars and a piece of fresh Mozzerella, the cigar
characters, according to Joe Salmon, CAN "Solve the world's problems, one cigar at a
time!"

Thanks guys!!

Ellie/Jellie
