After graduating from the Glasgow College of Building and Printing in 1989 as an Interior and Graphic designer, I worked in the field of
Architecture for several years whilst also pursuing my love of painting. After my children were born I retrained and have worked as an Arts
Specialist for schools. I tutor children with disabilities, specifically Autism . I also tutor adults with physical and learning disability. I have
residencies in several Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire schools whilst also undertaking projects in mainstream education.My work has
been exhibited on several occaisions at The Scottish Parliament, Holyrood, Edinburgh. I have exhibited regularly over the last few years ,
much of my work has travelled abroad to private collections. My last solo exhibition was in June 2009, at the Artdecaf Gallery in Merchant City,
Glasgow. I have also exhibited in St.Petersburg, Russia and have completed a commission for The House of Friendship there to celebrate
Homecoming Year. I have been commissioned by the Strathclyde University Graduates Association and my work is part of the University
private art collection. I have a home studio and also a studio base at the WASPS Artist`s Studios in The Briggait, Studio 102, 141
Bridgegate, Glasgow, G1. I work mainly in oil, but also use acrylic and guache.
