I create some of my paintings in collaboration with my husband, Bent Olle Sørensen.
His imagination is allow to grow into my paintings. A difficult process at first which initially created
a confrontation between us. With a great deal of stubbornness from my husband's side, it works fine now.
I work with acrylics on canvas. I have also worked with masonite, cut shapes out of cardboard,
that has been painted with tons of paint and other stuff.
I am self-taught.

Born 1951 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a child I loved to draw figuratively and play with
paper dolls,
so my artistic start
was in the figurative world.
I grew up in a working class home, where art wasn't in
focus, but I did get
great support from my parents
It wasn't until I met my husband, who is experimenting
and searching in art,
that I opened
my eyes for the abstract.
It was very difficult for me at first, because I´m very
comfort-seeking, but now I´m most in favor
of doing the abstract art.
