Prelude to a misty morning
|
Through my artworks, I attempt to explore the relationship between women and nature to create the most
beautiful scenes. The setting for these photomanipulations includes forests, deserts, oceans and gardens.
The frozen and dark, grungy colours gives a surreal feeling with notions of charm, calmness and
sensuality. Some of these works are based on dreams and feelings I can't express with words, but I can
do it through my works
I have always been fascinated with surrealism and conceptualism. I have the idea of collecting images to make
new worlds with a magical perception, inviting the viewer to have an inner connection with each project. Before I
start a new one, I look inside myself for inspiration. From dreams, feelings, or places I imagine, adding angelic
beauties and mixing them with aesthetic landscapes, creating a piece filled with the philosophy of nature
I'm a 25 year old self taught digital artist. I'm from Denmark but I grew up in Belgium.
I discovered my passion for photomanipulation in 2008, since then I developed an ability to create the most beautiful
inner worlds people most likely would never imagine, achieving the level of sophistication and charm. Then, I had
the idea to start my own business 'Danielle Lily Digital Art'.
To make each artwork I use elements like foggy places, forests, oceans, deserts and dreamlike objects with a
combination of frozen, pastel and dark grungy colours. I currently work as a freelancer.
