Bitterness Brings Botox
Why be angry? What does it do for you? It brings stress and more importantly, it brings WRINKLES!! To the point you
may need but not want, Botox!
If you hold things in and are always worried and bitter toward others it will take its toll on your body and on your face!
Where is the first place stress usually shows up? On your face. And in what form, wrinkles! When you smile you increase
endorphins in your entire body and add a glow to your skin and your face. Conversely, when you frown and hold bitterness, you
display wrinkles and a poorer color on your face.
There are great facial exercises, similar to what you would do to keep the muscles in the rest of your body intact. The face is
made of muscles and skin and tons of expressions. You also know that the first place weight gain or loss is seen, is usually in the
face. Therefore it is important to "exercise" your face. How can you do this?
Think of the Vowels, A E I O U. Say them slowly, 5x, concentrating on using your facial muscles in a positive manner. The
oration of each vowel helps a different muscle group in the face and neck. This is like Yoga for the face. "Foga"- facial yoga!
Here are the official terms for the facial muscles used in both smiles and frowns..
Some of the muscles involved in a "zygomatic" (i.e., genuine) smile:
Zygomaticus major and minor. These muscles pull up the corners of the mouth. Orbicularis oculi. One of these muscles encircles
each eye and causes crinkling. Total: 2.
Levator labii superioris. Pulls up corner of lip and nose.
Levator anguli oris. Also helps elevate angle of mouth.
Risorius. Pulls corner of mouth to the side.
Principal muscles involved in a frown:
Orbicularis oculi Platysma. Pulls down lips and wrinkles skin of lower face
Corrugator supercilii (bilateral) and procerus (unilateral). Furrow brow. Orbicularis oris. Encircles mouth; purses lips.
Mentalis. Depresses lower lip. Unilateral.
Depressor anguli oris. Pulls corner of mouth down.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and just 17 to smile! You do the math!
So, just keep in mind but not on your face! It is bad for you to keep bitterness in your body and heart. Let it go, dont
be bitter, be BETTER!
SMILES, Ellie
