David Paul Kay (b.1982) is a New York City-based artist and designer. Originally from
the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, David had to flee to the United States in 2008.
Once settled in New York, he was able to absorb its liberating artistic impulse. The
trauma of relocation and the eventual discovery of personal and artistic freedom resulted
in David’s unique artistic sensibility, which culminates in the world of spirited abstraction
and geometric mazes in his works.

David has successfully pursued drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, mixed-
media installations, and public art projects in New York, while establishing his own
clothing label (CodeCole).

He has participated in group art shows in 2012 and 2013 working closely with Ivan
Savvine, curator at 287 Spring Gallery & Performance Space
(
www.287Spring.com)

David is currently preparing for a major solo public art project which is scheduled to
start in May of 2013 in the SoHo neighborhood of
Downtown Manhattan.
