He has done it again the restaurant Impresario Shiva Natarajan has opened yet another hit restaurant Chote
Nawab (The Little Prince) in what has become one of my favorite neighborhoods for Indian Cuisine in
Manhattan. Murray Hill – Curry Hill – Little India
Call it what ever you want but make no mistake this part of town has rounded up the best of the best in Indian
dining. Not only is the food top notch but his designer has waved the magic interior design wand over Chote
Nawab and created what can easily be described as an eclectic mix of funky lounge like luxury and blended art
into the mix.
Hand painted murals adorn the walls and the art work is good!
A whimsical scenic study on one wall and on another a rendition of a Bollywood Movie
Called you guessed it Chote Nawab - The Little Prince.
But the best part is the menu. After years in the restaurant game Mr. Natarajam knows Indian Cuisine and the
menu lists all the popular favorites for all you Indian foodies out there plus a few surprises that will satisfy those
adventurous diners who just love spicy exotic surprises. I have my favorites and i am a creature of habit.
My appetite can be somewhat voracious at times especially at times like this when I am sitting in front of a
computer screen writing articles about mouth watering food instead of having dinner at
Chote Nawab. Here’s the reason why, just have a look at this menu!
My favorites are alwasy the curry shrimp, lamb saag, chicken tiki masala, and of course hot nan bread. Lunch
time or dinner Chote Nawab will quickly become a favorite on your list of restaurants. Shiva I cant wait to see
what your next culinary creation will be, and you can be sure
The New York Optimist will be there to write about it.
