I am a Motion Picture & Still Photographer. I'm happily married to my Guardian Angel: Andrea Carin Oliphant, who is
a natural born photographer, better than I, actually. I specialize in Still Photography and HD Videos of People,
Concerts, Places and Weddings/Events. I also shoot album covers. For years I produced videos of Steppenwolf,
Journey, Motorhead, John Mayall & The Blues Breakers, and Night Ranger. My first film was "The Bananna Splits
Live in Hawaii", it was 1968 and I was 9 years old. But I guess what really put me on the map was my 1990
documentary "UFOs: A Need To Know" (Blockbuster Video) which introduced a lot of people to Bob Lazar, Travis
Walton and Las Vegas TV Reporter George Knapp of KLAS TV8. For Ten Years, my Mentor was Tony Secunda.
Secunda was the publicist for The Beatles and The Stones. He also managed Procol Harum, The Moody Blues, The
Move. T. Rex, Steeleye Span, Motorhead, Richard Thompson and Al Rapone. Tony taught me everything he knew.
Thankfully I've forgotten all of it! Most Recently I've shot stills for my favorite band in the World: Magic Christian, my
photo "On The Road" is on the back of their new CD "Evolver". I just moved to New Orleans. Before that I was in Las
Vegas for 4 years including doing Camera for Jay Leno, The Platters, The Drifters and The Coasters, Area 51 and
Digital Film Tree etc. Before that I lived in San Francisco. I used to mix sound at San Francisco's Mabuhay Gardens
from 1977-1983, the epicenter of the West Coast Punk Scene. Three bands a night, 7 nights a week. You name 'em,
I mixed 'em, DEVO, Dead Kennedys. Johnny Thunders, The Avengers, The Nuns, CRIME, The Mutants, The Dils,
Negative Trend, No Alternative, The Feeders, Gary Valentine, The Cramps, Weirdos, Zippers, The Sleepers, Brittley
Black & The Next, X, Wall Of Voodoo, Screamers, Zolar X, The Ramones, Dead Boys, Blondie, The Go Gos, Jim
Caroll Band,The Cramps, Patti Smith, Robert Fripp, Billy Idol, U.X.A., The Flamin' Groovies, I've also mixed sound for
Gordon Waller (Peter & Gordon), The Beau Brummels, Michael Wilhelm and Magic Christian. I've also produced and
Engineered two albums: Brittley Black & The Next's "Where Are The Mods?" and "Best Of Mabuhay Volume #1"
which is 30 years of S.F. Punk including Zolar X, Seizure, The Mutants, No Alternative, Negative Trend, U.X.A., The
Touchtones, Wasp Women and several other fine Pinheads. My work has appeared on CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, ITN,
Nippon TV, BBC, AFN, MTV, HBO, Showtime, QVC, ESPN and Fox TV. I also Directed, Co-Produced & DP'd
Screenwriter John Shirley's ("The Crow" for Brandon Lee), ("The Specialist" for Stallone) last documentary: "The
Spiritual Journey"
